Stiftelsen Casa Emanuel is an Norwegian organisation helping homeless streetchildren in Brasil.

In 1988 a Norwegian woman, Inger Harrington, sold her home and her furnitures, and by ship arrived Brasil to taking care of some of the poorest in the Brasilian society.The streetchildren.

Nearly 20 years later she`s still going strong helping children.
Some of the children has been victims for drug abuse, prostitution and violence.
At the casa they are given a new and improved life with love, care, school,
opportunities and a regular familylife.

We are also supporting SOS Nova Vida, a casa with 42 HIV positiv children
from 2-10 years old. These children are without any family,
their mothers are dead of aids, and volunteers are taking care of them at SOS
Nova.
